Viewing details:
  • Viewings available Mon–Sat, 9am–6pm

Visit the property

Our team member will meet you at the property and show you around. You'll see the room, shared spaces, kitchen and all facilities. Ask any questions you need.

Reserve and pay your deposit

If you love the room, reserve it by submitting your application online. You'll then pay a security deposit to hold the bed — this confirms your place and takes the room off the market.

Deposit details:
  • Deposit is typically 1 month's rent
  • Payment via Revolut, Wise or bank transfer
  • Deposit returned at end of tenancy (subject to conditions)
  • Room is held exclusively for you once deposit is received

Sign your contract & move in

We'll prepare your rental contract and send it for signature. Once signed, you'll receive your move-in instructions, key collection details and a warm welcome to your new home in Dublin.

How long does the whole process take?

Most students go from first search to move-in within 3–7 days. We work fast because we know accommodation is urgent for international students.

Do I need to pay anything to use Stay Dublin?

No — our service is completely free for students. You only pay the deposit and rent to secure your accommodation.

Can I view a room before I arrive in Dublin?

Yes, we can arrange video calls for remote viewings. However, we strongly recommend an in-person visit when possible for peace of mind.

💰 Costs & Payments

How much is the deposit?
The deposit is typically equivalent to one month's rent. It is paid after your viewing, once you decide to reserve the room. The deposit is held for the duration of your stay and returned at the end of the tenancy, subject to the property being left in good condition.
Are bills included in the rent?
Monthly utility bills are approximately €40, and may vary slightly up or down.
Do I pay any fees to Stay Dublin?
No. Stay Dublin is completely free for students. There are no booking fees, no agency commissions, and no hidden charges. You only pay your deposit and monthly rent directly.
How do I pay the deposit?
We accept bank transfer. All payment details will be provided after your viewing confirmation. We do not accept cash deposits.

🏠 The Properties

What does the room actually look like? Will it match the photos?
Yes — we only use real photos of the actual property. We never use stock images. You will always have the chance to visit in person before committing. What you see is what you get.
What is the minimum stay?
Our contracts are typically for 6 months and can be renewed. If a tenant wishes to leave earlier and receive their full deposit back, they are responsible for finding a replacement to take over the remaining contract period.
Are the properties safe and secure?
Yes. All properties in our portfolio are personally verified by our team. Most have secure building entry, CCTV in common areas, and are located in safe central Dublin neighbourhoods. We would not list a property we wouldn't live in ourselves.
Who will I be living with?
Our properties are primarily occupied by other international students and young professionals. Each property has house rules that set expectations around noise, cleanliness and guests. We match residents carefully to create a comfortable living environment.

📅 Viewings & Booking

How quickly can I schedule a viewing?
Most viewings are arranged within 24–48 hours of your request. We have team members available across the key Dublin zones (D01, D02, D03, D07) to arrange visits quickly. Submit your request and we'll confirm by WhatsApp or email.
What if I can't visit in person?
We can arrange a live video tour via WhatsApp or Zoom. Contact us directly and we'll organise this for you. Note that in-person viewings are always preferred to ensure you are comfortable with the room before committing.
Can I reserve a room without viewing it first?
Yes, in exceptional circumstances. If you are arriving soon and a room is in high demand, we can reserve it with a deposit following a video viewing. Please contact us to discuss your situation.
